Wenn ich immer wieder behaupte, dass die Region Margaux das Burgund des Médoc ist, so beweist der 55er Margaux diese Theorie. Ein an sich schlanker, fragiler Wein, der sich aber trotzdem mehr als nur sehr gut gehalten hat. 95: Sehr reife Farbe. Offenes, an Erdbeeren und Datteln erinnerndes Bouquet; ähnelt einem grossen Burgunder der Domaine de la Romanée-Conti. Die Säure beginnt etwas zu dominieren und zeigt Endreife an, Ledertöne und einen Hauch Korinthen (nicht dekantieren). 07: Dunkles Granatrot, etwas matt. Reifes, sanft oxydatives Bouquet, Moschusnoten, Bakelit, Rosinentöne, Nescafé. Sanfter Gaumenauftritt, weich und samtig im Gaumen, Gerstenmalz und Currynoten im grasig-würzigen Finale. vorbei
