Château Gilette - Creme de Tete 1949 75cl

Deep amber color, with dense date, caramel, toasted almond and glazed apricot up front, followed by increasingly intense singed orange peel, clove and brown sugar notes. Stays creamy though, with a long, gorgeous finish which echoes on and on. Tasted non-blind at the château.
