Podere Il Carnasciale

Offering one of the finest Tuscan wines in the world, the Podere Il Carnasciale estate has steadily gained cult status over the past years. The estate is idealistically located in the Valdarno hills, just outside of the Chianti Classico appellation. With close to 5 hectares of vineyards, Podere Il Carnasciale is run by Mortiz Rogosky and his mother, Bettina, with the guidance of oenologists, Peter Schilling and Marco Maffei. Their flagship wine – Caberlot – has been produced since the late 1980s, and is crafted from a unique cross-grape variety (L32 vine) that combines Cabernet Franc and Merlot. An exclusive wine for its unbelievable structure and intense soft tannins, Caberlot is the Super Tuscan to have in your cellar. Only 3,500 Magnums are produced each year.
