Château Pontoise Cabarrus

Situated along the Gironde estuary, Château Pontoise Cabarrus lies on the Left Bank in Saint-Seurin-de-Cadourne of Haut-Médoc. With a vinous history dating back to the 18th century, the estate went through various owners until 1959, when Emile Terygeol purchased the château. But at the time only 7 out of the 15 hectares were producing wine. Therefore, Terygeol devoted himself to increasing their value while reinforcing the image of Pontoise among the businesses of Bordeaux. He was later succeeded by his son, François in 1973, who further developed the château's reputation and quality. Today, renowned enologists, Jacques and Eric Boissenot, consult for the estate.
