Full body with a solid core of fruit and a long, long finish. So expressive and lively. 100% sauvignon blanc.92 Robert ParkerAlready in bottle, the 2013 Pavillon Blanc du Chateau Margaux (100% Sauvignon Blanc) reveals stunning notes of honeyed grapefruit, lemon zest and a hint of tropical fruit in a medium-bodied, crisp, fresh, lively style. Despite being fermented and aged in wood, the oak component is pushed to the background. The wine shows terrific acidity, purity and personality. Drink it over the next decade or more. <br/>17 Rene GabrielAufhellendes Gelb, einen grünlichen Schimmer zeigend. Herrliches Bouquet, Minze, Lindenblüten, weisser Pfirsich. Im Gaumen nicht so säuerlich wie gewisse weisse Graves, zeigt einen saftigen Charme und wird gleich von Beginn weg zu gefallen wissen. beginnen (2014 - 2024) Producer Château MargauxUnarguably, the most stunning property amongst the Médoc châteaux, its grand façade matched with its dramatic tree-lined drive speaks volumes of the Château Margaux’s already impressive reputation. Built in the early 19th century, the château still stands tall representing centuries of past vine growers. Greek born, André Mentzelopoulos bought the estate in 1949, and since the 1980s, his daughter, Corinne Mentzelopoulos has followed in his well-built traditions. By 1983, the charming, now late Paul Pontallier joined the team, becoming technical director at only 27-years-old. The traditional château, led by the young, but talented crew, has grown into one of Bodeaux’s best. The 262-hectare estate produces their signature Cabernet Sauvignon driven Grand Vin, Château Margaux. As well as a remarkable second wine, Pavillon Rouge du Château Margaux, and a pure Sauvignon Blanc, unique to Margaux, Pavillon Blanc du Château Margaux.
