The 2019 Rocheyron is sensual and expressive, wafting from the glass with aromas of raspberries, pencil shavings, potpourri and sweet soil tones. Medium to full-bodied, broad and enveloping, with tangy acids, powdery tannins and a supple, seamless profile, it concludes with a mouthwateringly saline finish. This collaboration between Peter Sisseck and Silvio Denz has turned out brilliantly.

This doesn't have a ton of range, but it's a solid midterm drinker. Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Drink now through 2032. 1,600 cases made. — JM
